Select the cabinet according to the nature of the chemical:
Yellow cabinets store flammable liquids (such as thinner and white gasoline), red cabinets store flammable liquids, and blue cabinets store weakly corrosive liquids.
The constant temperature function requires that the cabinet material and temperature control system are adapted to the characteristics of the stored chemicals.
Capacity matching:
Select the appropriate capacity according to the model (such as 4 gallons to 110 gallons) to avoid excessive storage.
Placement conditions
The cabinet needs to be placed horizontally on a flat ground, away from heat sources and crowded areas. 35.
The distance between multiple cabinets is ≥15 cm to ensure ventilation and heat dissipation.
Temperature control settings:
Set the constant temperature parameters according to the chemical storage temperature requirements to avoid volatilization or reaction caused by temperature fluctuations.
Calibrate the temperature control system regularly to ensure accuracy and stability (operation must be combined with the equipment manual).
Ventilation and exhaust:
If an external ventilation system is required, ensure that the dual exhaust port (with flame arrester) meets safety standards to avoid damaging the explosion-proof performance of the cabinet.
When exhaust is not enabled, the exhaust port must be sealed with a plug.
Static electricity and grounding:
The lower right corner of the cabinet is equipped with an electrostatic grounding clamp, which must be connected to a dedicated grounding pile to conduct static electricity in time.
When filling or extracting liquids, the container and the cabinet must be electrically connected.
Storage management:
The container is tightly sealed and regularly checked for leakage or volatilization.
Classify and store incompatible chemicals, refer to MSDS (chemical safety data sheet).
The load-bearing of the shelves must be reasonably distributed, and heavy objects must be placed on the lower layer.
Prohibited behavior:
Open flames, smoking or hot work are strictly prohibited near the cabinet.
The cabinet door must be closed and locked immediately after use to prevent volatile gas from overflowing.
Regular maintenance:
Check the ventilation openings, grounding devices and cabinet sealing.
Clean up the residual chemicals in the leakproof tank (50mm high at the bottom of the cabinet).
Emergency preparation:
Firefighting equipment (such as fire extinguishers) and emergency handling tools are placed around the cabinet.
Post warning signs to clearly indicate the types of chemicals stored and emergency measures.
High temperature environment: Strengthen ventilation and heat dissipation, monitor the temperature stability in the cabinet, and suspend use when necessary.
Electrical failure: Immediately cut off the power supply and transfer the chemicals, and contact professionals for repair.
Through the above-mentioned standardized operations, the safety performance of the constant temperature explosion-proof cabinet can be maximized to avoid accidents caused by temperature out of control or improper operation.
