The Safety Waste Funnel is detachable and compatible with waste liquid barrels of various specifications.
The Safety Waste Funnel can be integrated into a waste liquid collection system. The funnel can be embedded in the workbench and connected with a waste liquid alarm system, mainly equipped with a liquid level alarm. When the waste liquid reaches the preset level, the waste liquid collection system will trigger an alarm to remind laboratory staff that the waste liquid is full, so as to replace the waste liquid barrel or carry out subsequent disposal in a timely manner.

This is a case of safety waste liquid funnels we provided for a university laboratory, which effectively solves the customer's waste liquid storage problems.
Check all components for completeness: Ensure the funnel body, filter ball, grounding wire and drain valve are free of damage, cracks or deformation.
Grounding Connection: Fasten one end of the grounding wire to the metal interface of the funnel body with bolts, and clip the alligator clip at the other end to a dedicated laboratory grounding electrode or fixing screw.
Filter Ball Installation: Attach the filter ball to the connecting rod. Pass one end through the built-in pore filter membrane after assembly, install the float on the other end, and tighten gently.
Filtration & Adsorption Assembly: Mount the filter and adsorption unit at the bottom of the waste liquid collector. Align the unit with the reserved pores on both sides and fasten securely.
Place the funnel body on the waste liquid barrel, and adjust the bottom knob to keep the funnel vertical and stable. Prevent tipping and liquid leakage.
Open the cover plate of the waste liquid collector and pour waste liquid slowly to prevent splashing caused by impact.
The liquid level shall not exceed 2/3 of the total funnel capacity to avoid overflow.
The filter ball automatically intercepts impurities larger than or equal to the filter membrane pore size. If the filtration rate slows down significantly (no dripping within 5 minutes), stop use and remove impurities.
Observe the float during discharging. A rising float indicates the waste liquid barrel has reached the maximum filling level; stop pouring immediately.
Static Electricity Safety: Never use the product without proper grounding. Do not twist, pull the grounding wire, or expose it to high temperature/sharp objects to prevent breakage.
Operation Safety: Operators must wear acid and alkali resistant gloves and goggles. Direct contact with the funnel inner wall or waste liquid with bare hands is prohibited. Do not mix incompatible waste liquids (e.g. strong acid & strong alkali, oxidants & reducing agents) to prevent chemical reactions.
Environmental Requirements: Install in a well-ventilated area, away from fire sources, power supplies and food storage areas.
Rinse the funnel body and filter ball shell with deionized water after each use. If exposed to organic solvents, rinse with absolute ethanol first, then clean with water, and store after thorough drying.
Inspect the insulation layer of the grounding wire and the elasticity of the grounding clip spring monthly. Replace the alligator clip or grounding wire in case of poor contact.
Warning: This product is only for preliminary treatment of laboratory waste liquid. All final waste liquid must be handed over to qualified professional institutions in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Hazardous Wastes. Random discharge is strictly prohibited.
