The explosion-proof gas cylinder storage cabinet is a safe storage solution designed for various dangerous flammable and explosive gases, including methane, acetylene, hydrogen, oxygen, and inert gases. It is equipped with an alarm function, ensuring high safety, reliability, and quality.

1. Cabinet Body

The cabinet is constructed with double-layer high-quality cold-rolled steel plates, each with a thickness of ≥1.5mm. After undergoing pickling and phosphating treatments, the surface is electrostatically sprayed with epoxy resin, providing excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and rust. The outer door panel has a 1.5mm-thick structure, and the interlayer is filled with ceramic fiber fireproof material.


2. Door Panel

The door panel is equipped with detachable hinges and a transparent explosion-proof glass viewing window on the front, allowing users to observe the usage status of the gas cylinders inside the cabinet.


3. Viewing Window

The viewing window is made of tempered glass, featuring a unique and novel design.


4. PASS Hole

There is a PASS hole on the side of the cabinet to ensure proper gas circulation inside.


5. Movable Fixing Device

The movable fixing device can accommodate the storage of gas cylinders with different heights and diameters. It uses a fixed 304 stainless-steel chain-type fixing mechanism to prevent the gas cylinders from tipping over.


6. Mechanical Pedal

The pedal is a mechanical ramp plate. There is an adjustable stainless-steel embossed pedal at the bottom of the cabinet, facilitating easy loading and unloading of gas cylinders.


7. Locking Device

A three-point linkage lock is used, providing enhanced security.


8. Alarm Device

An audible and visual alarm system is adopted, with a loud but non-irritating sound.

11. Negative Pressure Gauge

The negative pressure inside the cabinet can be set according to the type of gas. It allows users to monitor the negative pressure inside the cabinet. When the sensor inside the cabinet detects a gas leak and activates the alarm, the top fan will automatically start, expelling the gas outside through the exhaust pipe to safeguard the safety of the working area.

The control system has 40 commonly used gas parameters pre-embedded for selection.


13. Automatic Door Closing Device

When the temperature outside the cabinet reaches 70°C, the locking device of the gas cylinder cabinet door will automatically melt, and the door will close automatically, preventing the fire from spreading inside.


14. Pressure Monitoring

The negative pressure inside the gas cylinder cabinet is displayed in real-time. When the pressure is lower than the set value, the fan will be automatically activated. The maximum negative pressure inside the cylinder can reach 60 Pascals.


15. Automatic Switching Device

When the gas pressure in one cylinder is insufficient, it will automatically switch to the full cylinder area. When the gas pressure in both cylinders is insufficient, the main valve will automatically close.


16. Stainless-Steel Semi-Automatic Gas Switching System

This system is suitable for C₂H₂, CO₂, AR, N₂, HE, O₂, and AIR. The maximum input pressure is 20MPa, and the output pressure ranges from 0 to 1.6MPa. It operates on a 1-use-1-standby mode and is equipped with 4 diaphragm valves (2 on-off valves and 2 purge valves), including a pressure relief valve. The inlet and outlet interfaces are 1/4” NPT (F).

Precautions and Maintenance

Store gas cylinders containing the same type of gas in the same cabinet. Do not mix different types of gases.

When installing the gas cylinder cabinet, place it against a wall and ensure it is level.

Test the alarm once a week. Typically, use a non-ignited lighter to release gas near the air intake for a few seconds. If the alarm responds with an audible and visual alert, it is functioning properly. Otherwise, have a professional inspect and repair it. (Note: During testing, never spray a large amount of high-concentration gas directly onto the internal sensor of the alarm, as this may damage the sensor.)

Keep the inside of the cabinet clean and regularly remove dust or other debris from the sensor's air intake.

Note: When gas cylinders are stored in the cabinet, there should be no issues under normal, non-human-induced circumstances. To prevent slow or non-responsive alarms due to long periods of inactivity, staff can conduct alarm tests using smoke and gas to ensure the normal operation of the product. Self-testing is generally recommended once every two months.
